The cell is new but Spreadtrum is missing
I recently purchased an 4" Android D7100, with
Android 4.0.4 on it, 1GHZ, 3MP cameras, Wi-fi,
Analog TV and Radio, DUAL SIM.
I plugged the Android in the laptopvia USB cable
to update the software and a part of it (the Spreadtrum)
cannot be found on the Internet...
I still cannot access the Internet or my emails on this Android,
I have sychronization problems and even some
photos are not very clear, the connexion to the Internet is
almost absent, as when the phone has not signal for performing
this connection.
The Spreadtrum phone is missing.
I contacted the seller, the manufacturer too,
but no answer for several (whole) days...
Please, tell me if you have any solution to this,
where should I find anyone or anything to repair
my NEW phone. HOW can I update the software ?

I found this link containing a driver for your phone after an exhaustive search :D. I hope it proves useful.

However, I'm afraid there is not much to do about your phone since it is a clone. Based on my experience with these kind of "clone" brands, I can tell you most of the software info you see could be fake, meaning that your REAL Android version could be anything but the one your system is showing you. :(

In any case, if you are considering to tweak your phone as a "plan B" option, you should be extra careful because of the aforementioned reasons, as any info faked by your phone manufacturer will inevitably lead to problems and could complicate any further possible tweaks such as rooting or advanced tweaking.

your answer about SpreadTrum
Dear IQ Hazard, I was assured the phone was a REAL Android one and that Android 4.0.4 runs on it ....I suppose that before starting downloading the driver from my laptop with Win7x64 to the smartphone, I have to unzip that pack, right...??? Or should I wait other answers to my problem ? :o THANK YOU

I didn't mean that your Android OS is a fake. What I really meant to say is that there is a possiblity that your real Android version is not the one your system is telling you.

The fastest test I can think of to check your real Android version is by trying to install an app that requires a real 4.0 and up Android version, like this one:

If you cannot install it, that means your real android version is not the 4.0 one, but a lower one (2.3.x perhaps?).

Moving on, I double checked the .RAR file containing the driver and it opened with no problems for me; try downloading it again and then install one the free programs suggested here to open it:

After that, unzip the files to a folder and connect your phone to the PC. When asked about the drivers, point to that folder and Windows will proceed to install them.

Unfortunately, I cannot tell if those drivers are going to work flawlessly with your phone, since I don't have a phone like yours to test them. (although I sincerely hope they work for you :)).
