Now that makes me curious of setting up a Bodhi VM again. :/

Precisely what everyone needs: An enlightenment fork.

In all seriousness, forking a small desktop is probably not better than just helping to improve it.

Bodhi was a bold departure from your run-of-the-mill linux distro. I liked it a great deal for its la carte system for building a distro just for my needs. To each their own, anyway thats my two cents.

I agree with Cthulhux. The best way for Linux to take more market share from Windows is for the DE's to be reduced by half and the distros by a similar amount. Choice is a wonderful thing but beyond a certain point it just becomes overload.

I'm not entirely sure if market share is a relevant thing though. Are you? More choice on OS X where you can't even have a different desktop environment would be great too.

... and it is preinstalled on the machines and it works out of the box for it to be popular, just try to add a few more key factors, MC.
