I have a cheap little HP photosmart plus B209a printer. Both fedora and ubuntu work perfectly with it (and probably most other distros do to). Fedora and Ubuntu automatically recognize it when its plugged in, and install the drivers for you. Wireless printing with it is a breeze with Fedora, just add a printer and input its ip address. I do not know if i'd actually reccomend the printer, because it runs out of ink way too often.
