Incidentally lots of ways to customise the clock here:
http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/10/h...let-in-ubuntu/ Apologies if this link is already here somewhere ![]()

When you right-click the clock, choose Preference, a swap of the clock format to 12 hour or 24 hour, the "custom" you put in the format field gets overwritten immediately. In actual fact, the best way to set the clock preferences should be via the right-click menu from the panel clock, but surprisingly that menu so far doesn't have an option to change the font color of the clock. ![]() |

![]() Other option of course unless you really like wrestling with Conky is to use the GKRellm monitor which has a nice time/date display. You can change the format and font sizes by editing the skin file to suit, and then dump your tray clock completely. Screenshot-1.png

Tried to re-install a theme after deleting it, but the installation for the theme failed. It says "can't move directory over directory".
![]() Likely this is related to a reported desktop bug. A workaround is to go to the ~/.themes folder, look for that theme folder and delete it. You can then reinstall the theme. |

OK, now I have a question of utmost importance
![]() My preferred icon set in FaenzaWolfe but now the new mail tray notification tied to Thunderbird only changes from dark silver to light silver instead of green. This is no where near as noticeable and I'd like to change it. Is there a way to do this without affecting the whole icon set?
