Default Reviews of different distros

Thanks to bk_7312, who suggested this blog somewhere on this forum. I found this blog, to contain very interesting, and informative articles ranging from softwares, security, Linux etc.

I noticed articles, or sort of reviews, on different Linux distros being featured on the blog. They might be useful to Linux users. I will put the links here.

Mandriva 2010 : http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/mandriva-2010.html

OpenSuse 11.2 : http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/opensuse-11sp2.html

Kubuntu 9.10 : http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/kubuntu-9-10.html

Ubuntu 9.10 : http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/ubuntu-9-10.html

There are other different articles on Linux too on the blog. I will be spending my time reading articles there.

I mentioned this blog in Pdf Tools today too. The blog links back to the Pdf Tools article on Gizmo's, in his article on Pdf Tools. The blog also contains Gizmo's Freeware among the greatest sites on the web, according to the author.

Nice articles. I've tried Ubuntu and briefly Kubuntu. Personally I preferred Ubuntu to Kubuntu even though the articles say Kubuntu is better. In a way, Ubuntu has a cleaner user interface based on the Gnome desktop environment, but I think users who like KDE will then prefer Kubuntu.

In the above article about the "Confusing stuff" mentioned in Ubuntu 9.10, I've a post here to say what it is.

Yeah, I agree. That blog is really awesome and if I'm not mistaken, the author is a member of wilders forum.
