Default Linuxfx Total Garbage

Now being a naturalized Brazilian I decided to give the latest version a run.

First off the installation hung `retrieving files` after which there was no other option other than to re-run the installation without a network connection. This accomplished, the bootloader was non existent with the former distro that occupied this space still listed but of course unbootable. I therefore repaired the boot by restoring Grub with Rescatux and then running `update-grub` from within one of the other systems. Linuxfx then appeared and was able to boot which was a real shame. All of the changes I made after the first reboot (wallpaper, themes etc) and system update were not saved and the file manager displayed two home folders, one of which was inaccessible. After the second reboot and a repeat of my former changes the language settings reverted back to Portuguese. The Plasma desktop crashed pretty much every other time the panel was accessed.

I posted about this on DistroWatch but in their wisdom they chose not to publish it.

For a distro labelled as `Ultra Stable` this is total garbage and a real mockery of what `real` Linux distros are able to present.

Correct. Even after all these years I can still only string together a few words to make half a sentence.

But what if there is an emergency when you need to tell someone that your house is on fire? Do all Brasilians speak English?

Very few except in the main tourist areas. `Help!` though is a pretty universal request.
