Default New PC

My old linux box (Core2 Duo) died so I bought a new HP Core i3 earlier this year.

Works great but UEFI takes some getting used to. For example, Win7 works fine or Centos 7 works fine, but duo boot? Not so good. Soooooo...I started experimenting with a few distros and I can duo boot TahrPup on an external drive using SYSLINUX bootloader. Any other distros using SYSLINUX or otherwise compatible with UEFI in your experience?

You can also dual boot other compatible Linux distros.

See here for general guide.

You can also find tutorials/guides for specific distros, e.g. Mint
