Muddled thru using Mint to VirtualBox YouTube video. Viewed the link you kindly provided and picked up a couple things more... Thanks

Great, I hope you like it.

Apart from the stuff related mainly to more advanced users in the Linuxinsider review, the only one issue that bugs me occasionally is the network applet/panel. When my cable goes down (which is frequently ), I need to switch to my mobile broadband. I can only accomplish this once with the panel located in the bottom position. Thereafter to re-connect this modem (which again is a frequent event), the network manager menu does not appear and I'm forced to relocate the panel to the top of the screen, then it does. Otherwise, and considering Compiz/Emerald is included, it performs faultlessly.
