Nomenclature. There are plenty of sites for "fixing" Windows, and I bet those exists for OpenBSD, etc.

Thumbs up Kubuntu 14.04 LTS

As a Linux convert, may I suggest Kubuntu 14.04 LTS
I've bee using Kubuntu as my default linux Distro since 12.04.2 came out. I absolutely love this distro and 14.04 has polished out a few niggles although none were serious to begin with. KDE 14.3 is a pleasure to work with and in my opinion is a true competitor in the desktop market.
