Thumbs up Valve announces SteamOS, a living-room operating system for games

Valve had 3 big announcements for this week. Two of them are already out.

Valve is a renowned video game development and digital distribution company that has probably made the best games on PC, like Half-Life, Portal and Team Fortress series.

Quote:
1. (Finally) a Linux Distro Capable of Serious Windows-Compatible Gaming
2. The new OS has a heavy cloud-based backbone for backing up your files, updating the operating system without manual management, and syncing gameplay among your various installations.
Valve's head Gaben is a lover of Linux O.S, and he's trying to make it a major gaming platform, one that has been a low-point of Linux till date.
