To be frank, I don't understand what you're describing. Nor do I see it on Chromium for Linux. Can you provide screenshots and/or link to the others complaining?

I don't know how you define efficient, but Chrome's speed, profile syncing, and abundance of extensions is the epitome of efficiency for me. If you think it's lacking, try all the chrome://, gpedit.msc + registry (for Chrome 27-) + /etc/opt/chrome/policies, command-line switches, profile folder editing, and Chromium from source code.

thanks, about efficiency it's probably my old pc that handles better firefox than chrome i'm sure, because with chrome the cpu goes full blast nosy and with firefox it's much quieter, about the - minimizing of the pages tabs here a short video on utube

i just discovered that the desktop that has those Tabs as shown in my video similar to IE are on XUBUNTU desktop with XFCE4 in firefox, that's what i have in my ubuntu 12.04 and xubuntu 12.04 the xfce4 xubuntu desktop,so if i change the desktop to unity in ubuntu 12.04 i lose those options too, even in firefox.
that's why when i installed the chrome i lost those tabs in both xubuntu and ubuntu, there maybe a way to get those but i think i'm gonna stick with XFCE4 What is very friendly desktop, unless some bad happens,

Also want to add that my Debian Wheezy 7.1 PPC also have those tab pages option out of the box.
