Default Sharing Thunderbird profile on Win and Linux

I hope this is the best place to ask this. I have managed to dual boot my laptop with Win8 and Linux (Mint Cinnamon).

I currently have my Win8 TB profile in D:\SomeFolder\Thunderbird\Profiles\abcde.default and I want to set my Linux TB to point at the same location. Linux has my D:\ drive as
dev/sdb8 and I've tried most every combination. Logic would suggest the following to be the Path=

dev/sdb8/SomeFolder/Thunderbird/Profiles/abcde.default

This does not work so what I clearly am having trouble with is the syntax in the profiles.ini file. Can anyone help?

Hi,
Have you set your 'D' drive to mount when Linux is booted?

Thanks for replying. Yes the D drive is mounted at /media/david/Data according to the Disks program. It seems to mount automatically.
