I have some Chrome extension in my archive but there are too many of them so I will stay silent on this one.

For Thunderbird, my 'must have' is Thunderbrowse extension. Click a link in an email and it opens in a new tab in Thunderbird. No need to open your browser. Great for a quick run through all those links people send. Even opens YouTube videos. Right click to open in Browser instead.

I am a big fan of Evernote. They have a browser addon called Clearly which is worth a look. It's great for non-distraction reading online and easily saves to Evernote.

Some of these are obvious, but here goes:

Privacy:

cookies control - cs lite mod
flash cookies control - Better privacy

Appearance:

Fabtabs (seems to be a decent alternative to hash colored and colorful tabs)

Let me stop here for now
