I have an older pc that has XP and I used Yahoo email until they went to beta. Beta seems to throw a monkey wrench into my system. Is there any free web based email that isn't beta, or one that works with an older system?

durante if you know how to disable Java that will convert your Yahoo mail back to the old style and work like it used too. It's easy to disable in Firefox,but I'm not sure in IE. That's the ticket to disable Java and Yahoo mail will revert back,once it has you can re-enable Java. I hope it works for you. Let me know!

Although I use the paid version for the extra features, I started with the free version and have recommended many of my friends to it and they still use it;

i like gmail best because it's easy to use and minimalistic with the multi-inbox addon i can set up my inbox to show 4 labels at once. One for main inbox, other for credit cards, work, etc.
GMX is nice, but i don't like their tab system... but I only use it through gmail using pop so i dont actually use gmx for more than an email address... gmail also lets me forward emails from some people to my phone as a text message (forwarding is on other mails but like yahoo most require a paid service) yeah... i suppose i am biases towards gmail/google but hey if it works for me, why would i change? I'm open to new services/but haven't found one i like enough to change to as my main go to |
