Default Microsoft celebrates the death of IE6

We come to bury IE, not to praise it
In March, Microsoft assembled a team to push for the destruction of IE6, and have succeeded in reducing the market footprint of the browser. Currently 7.7 per cent of worldwide internet site visits use IE6, according to Microsoft, but the figure is now 0.9 per cent in the US.

So Redmond threw a party to celebrate
That cake sure looks great

"looks" good... i rather one that "taste" good so i can have it too lol

I don't know why tech companies feel like they have to kill older products to get market share... If they want market share for newer products, then make the new product better to attract people

Toyota does well because they make cars people want, they don't try to recall old models to take them out of market, they just stop selling them and let new models sell themselves. If microsoft couldn't draw people away with newer features/better performance, then they shouldn't be marketing new browsers every year
