Default AdBlockPlus now allows non-intrusive ads by default

AdBlockPlus, the popular extension for blocking ads, now allows non-intrusive ads by default. This move has been welcomed by webmasters, but angered many others. I think that this is a good move, as noted in some articles, as it will help small sites, whose revenue comes mostly from ads.

Users who do not like this move can turn off the option by going into Options --> Filter Preferences --> Unchecking the option to allow non-intrusive ads.

Details here on ABP blog :

I updated AdBlockPlus today to 2.0.1, but the option to allow non-intrusive ads was not checked by default

Yep, not checked - not on Firefox 8.0.1 nor on Palemoon 3.6.27.
Maybe he changed his mind? Or maybe something to do with other browser settings?

Have just updated to AB+ 2.0.1 and Disable Everywhere is not checked but under Filter Preferences, Allow non-intrusive advertisements was checked by default.

Not checked for me, must be some profile tweak. Who's enabling this permanently?
