Default What do you think is the Best Search Engine?

What do you think is the best search engine for all the user groups. Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced users? Which one is yours?

Here's how about.com responded with a list from reader e-mail suggestions for the best search engines and it concentrates mostly on the needs of an everday user especially the beginners.

10 MOST USEFUL SEARCH ENGINES

And here was the Readers Choice Awards Winner early this Jan 2011

Please do post what made to choose the best search engine and why? If you have some suggestions for others, do post it and share the knowledge

Moderators job: Please delete the duplicate posts other than this. Sorry guy's the 10 minute poll creation made me to sweat(i wish there was more time to setup)

Google Encrypted. The vast search options and experience wins my vote.

Google. Occasionally try the others but Google always seems to give the most and closest results to what I am searching for.

Google, despite the privacy issues. Tried them all, no one can touch them.

Except that ixquicksearch has an extra option "Phone" to the top of the page and startpage is enhanced by Google that offers web page results from Google in complete privacy. What's going on?

Startpage is a new name for Ixquick. They are the same search engine that just differs in name.

Ixquick for me. I like the privacy it offers.
