Although I don't have the issue, it's almost always better to have the latest version. Thanks.

Good to know they released the update so soon. This issue was all around the internet blogs, and a workaround was also being offered. I just got the notification. Will update in a while, coz am using it Sandboxed now.

When I saw this update, I thought that they had fixed this issue:

However, thanks for notifying! Updated just now.

That's not a fix, just plain old blocking of user choice. Great thing for an open-source program .

Hi,

Like Taurus, it's hard to notice any "vast" differences compared to version 6, but compared to version 3.6, it does start faster (with 22 add-ons and the Noia Fox theme, on a P4 with 1.5GB Ram it cold starts in just under 4 secs). Memory usage wise, I can't say there's noticeable improvement - Firefox is (and probably will stay) a memory hog for older systems, period.
On my HP G62 laptop, it's all very fast (but then even version 3.6 was) and with 4GB RAM, memory usage is not an issue.

Not sure if these features were there with version 6 (wasn't using it for long before version 7 came out) , but I find the "Paste & Go" and "Paste & Search" features a good step forwards.

Cheers

P.S. Thanks to J_L, I added Perspectives recently.

After using for a few days and monitoring my task manager, I can conclude that on my XP, memory usage is better.
