Extension to reveal short URL link?

Short URLs are now getting quite popular these days. But, the problem with these URLs is that you don't know where it will be taking you. Anyone with malicious intent can hide a malicious link under the short URL, and people won't know. So, is there any extension, for Firefox preferably, that will reveal the underlying links?

Not sure if there's an extension available, but you try web solutions such as Best Free Online URL Expander.

Thanks Jojo. BTW, the URL you have posted does not work :D.

Here is the right one :

I had to search for it on different pages.

Because you clicked it quicker than I could edit it. :D

LOL... Oops :D.

It's a good thing that the browser doesn't need to refresh the whole web page when you jump to another page. But the bad thing I noticed is that the URL in the address bar doesn't reflect the current page. So when you copied the URL from the address bar, it's likely that you will end up at the wrong page. :o

Well, you have to have some compromise somewhere, if you are trying to get the best optimization.

Meanwhile, I found that I already had the site in my bookmarks, which you suggested

From your link, I also found this excellent article by Rhiannon :

An extension would be even better though. I remember seeing one for either Opera, or Iron.. can't remember. Will have to check.

I use the LongURL Mobile Expander userscript.
