Default Java Runtime Environment aka JRE 7

Java Runtime Environment(JRE) version 7 has been released, and is available officially. JRE 7 is coming 5 years after JRE 6.

Uninstalled old version (it gets left behind), then installed new one. Ran JavaRa afterwards. So far, so good.

FileHippo has the latest Java Runtime Environment (version 1.7.0.1).
But if you go to Java's (Oracle) site, the download link still gives you version 6

Don't forget to run JavaRa after updating to 7.1, so as to remove older versions, otherwise your system is at increased risk from security exploits!

Yes, to JRE or not to JRE, that is the question. I'm beginning to wonder myself if it's worth it.
