Safe Mode won't help, because TrafficLight will be disabled as well.

Yes, it will help because he can then enable ONLY Traffic light and
see what happens.

i did a clean install, got bored of turning on and off addons lol.
TL worked with all the addons though. But it lost its dropdown menu when I turned it off. I restarted browser with it off and I never saw the dropdown menu again to turn it back on. Only odd part is that it still scanned google search links.

I've nearly finished my testing for an update to Best Free Internet Safety Checker: 5 browsers; 10 raters; 20 scanners. There are a few in alpha or beta like TrafficLight.

I've just installed TrafficLight. At present, without ad-blocking, it is very much like AVG LinkScanner. It seems to pickup the same problems. Although, when I have both running, LinkScanner beats TrafficLight to the draw. But that might be because LinkScanner was installed first.

The in-browser interface is better than LinkScanner because it is consistent across FF, IE, Chrome, Safari & Opera.

LinkScanner uses a pop-up window when problems are detected. TrafficLight puts up a block page. When a page is blocked by Google, I bypass it and get the TrafficLight block page, I bypass it and get the Google block page again. So it adds a few more steps.

At the moment, I'm scanning my test PC to see if TrafficLight actually blocked the malware. LinkScanner tells me but TrafficLight doesn't when I bypass the block page. One problem in Firefox is that the TrafficLight dropdown never appeared when I browse the malware site.

Hy guys,

Back again , sorry about not being around to answer I had some free days off with easter hollidays and all.

I've made a quick follow-up on your posts , we have some issues regarding Firefox 3.x . The extension will work ok Firefox 4.

There have been some fixes regarding compatibillity with other extensions and more will come.

Regarding TrafficLigh full , we've managed to solve the issue deya mentioned about IE crashing and many other improvements , but for the moment a fix will not be released through update since there have bane major changes in the core components.

Thanks again for all the feedback .

Thanks for the update. You'll be pleased to know that every PC with BDTL installed has crashed while you were sitting on the beach taking the sun and sipping caipirinhas (only joking)

It's great to see the commitment going into this product and we look forward to its further development
