There's a new Firefox extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../trafficlight/

Do note that it hasn't been reviewed by Mozilla, and isn't compatible with WOT.

I installed the addon and so far so good. This time it only took 17 pages
of Google search to find a red result. Whoever is using SBIE, can install
the addon sandboxed to try it, that's how I am going to use it for a few
days. The addon feels better than the installer, this time ITS in English.

works fine in firefox for me, too bad it makes wot not work so i wont use it till then.

While I like trafficlight, I like Wot too and since trafficlight's the one breaking my addons I'm choosing to use Wot.

Though I have both, just keep trafficlight disabled while I'm not testing it so I dont' have to remove it.

Hy guys,

Could you please give us a heads up regarding incompatibility with other extensions or any other problems you might encounter ?

Best regards.

Yes, can I also make this request please?

Considering the guys from BitDefender are monitoring this thread in their attempts to make this program better, we really do need to provide as much detail as possible to help them.

Have you tried switching search engines to DuckDuckGo and enabling WOT for the results in the settings?

Hi zeustl, the addon felt a lot better than the installer but I found that it
blocked me from opening the option menu for NoScript. So there is a
compatibility issue with NoScript. I ll try the addon again tonight and see
what happens. Memory was normal for Firefox unlike what I experienced
with the installer. I was able to watch videos with no problem in Youtube.
NoScript and TL worked fine its just that if TL is installed, I was not able
to open the option menu for NoScript.

Installed the TL add on to FF4, after removing WOT. Did a search in Google but the TL icons just rotated and wouldn't load. I disabled the other add ons installed (listed below) one by one and tried the search each time but the TL icons still wouldn't load. Disabled the FF plugins one by one, same again, TL icons not loading.

I then went to the TL settings, turned off the Malware Filter and tried again, this time the search icons loaded so I switched the Malware Filter back on and TL carried on working no problem. It's working now with the other add ons enabled - these are;

AdBlock Plus 1.3.6
British English Dictionary 1.19.1
Custom Tab Width 1.0.1
FabTabs 1.4
FireGestures 1.6.3
Movable Firefox Button 1.3
Padlock 0.1.2
QuickDrag 2.1.3.21

Here's what I noticed while using the TL add on with FF4. Some Websites, sites with plenty of links, images, scripts etc won't load properly, sometimes not at all, causing high CPU and the browser often locks. If I disable TL the sites load as normal.

Unlike Bo, I'm seeing high CPU sometimes, up to 90 - 100 percent, when running YouTube videos. If I open a couple more tabs at the same time and load pages then the browser sometimes locks.

Installed TL on a spare with AdBlock Plus, FireGestures and QuickDrag add ons installed and the same thing happens. Also, on both machines when I first open FF4 and the homepage loads, the TL interface tab doesn't show. The tab shows only when I click the home button and the page reloads - this happens everytime, although if I do a search straight away, without the TL tab showing, the rating icons work fine.

Clicked on various red rated links and TL blocks them, but not all, one I tried loaded. Click on 'take me back to safety' and it's back to Google so the blocking works. But if I click on a link that Norton DNS detects as malware the Norton 'blocked' page loads first, then the TrafficLight 'blocked' page loads after that.

So I'm wondering, can there be a conflict with TL and some of the secure DNS services, such as Norton DNS? - ie, filtering addresses at the same time, pages loading slow? I don't know, it's just a thought.

Read MC's post so tried TL with DuckDuckGo and the WOT search ratings work perfect - and if anyone was wondering, the TL add on isn't compatible with Aurora.

Now that you are saying this, I remember that on a red result that I clicked
on, I was able to go to the malicious link by hitting "go back one page".
That was no good.
