MC, have you chosen a "background" colour as opposed to letting pages choose their own colour?

I had a problem with the WOT rings not appearing when I chose to override page background colours (in Firefox).

Do you see the rings with IE7 or IE8?

I'm using Sleipnir v2.9.4 as well, maybe it's how you have your security settings, java or whatever? I took a screen shot, here.

It doesn't seem to work as well with Trident from some reason.

Well, I think youve drawn those little green rings on after because theyre not all the same size .... he says trying to think of a better reason why he cant work this out for himself!

Whats called for here is a new day, and as Manchester United have just beaten Newcastle 3 - 0, I feel good about tomorrow. I shall attack this freshly after breakfast. If you dont get another post back then youll know my PC has ended up with the eggs and mushrooms

Well, I was looking at this Sleipnir beast and came across a comment about the way it discriminated between IE7 and 8 engines. This was on their community page.

(It didn't have anything specific to do with WOT rings.)

"Well, I think youve drawn those little green rings on after because theyre not all the same size" ... found it under Gizmos best free little coloured ring drawing tool, works every time.

I went back and looked at the write up here about it, on the main site. This what it says in the review;

"Its site ratings are being used to filter search results here: Surf Canyon/Bing WOT secure search (you need to have scripts enabled for it to filter the search results and wait a second if you have a slow connection since it filters after the search results appear)"

I can't quite fathom out if that refers to WOT in general, or to the search engine specifically, but could the clue as to why you can't get it work lie there somewhere?

Maybe something in your Spleipnir settings that's set different to mine? I've tried all kinds of different security setting permutations, but I can't get it not to work.
