@MC, ... with Sleipnir, do your search and when the results appear click on the bullseyes and you'll get the WOT ratings in the links that drop down. It won't work work if you have the browser set to 'private' .. in the status bar .. it has to set to 'default'. It does seem to work differently in Sleipnir, maybe something to do with how I have it set up. But it does work.

Despite Deya having given the address to use, I managed to use this instead:
mywot.surfcanyon.com. Maybe that made the difference! Must look at Deya's link before posting here again .

Even though this SurfCanyon thing does look quite useful, as far as Opera is concerned, I find the WOT user.js script provided here excellent. All you have to do is download it and put it in your user.js folder, job done. It automatically informs you when there's an update available too.

Sope, I may use the WOT user script for Opera this time, this latest version is very good. It's just that I don't use it that much, so I've found this search engine to be useful for the odd times that I use it.

I've got three tabs open in Luna, one with Gecko loaded, one with WebKit, one with Trident. The search results in the Gecko and Webkit tabs both show the WOT ratings at the side of the links, but they don't show up in the Trident tab [I used the same word to search in all three] ... you have to click the bullseyes to get the WOT icons to show, same as in Sleipnir. Tried it with Max 3, dual engine, same thing, works better with WebKit than Trident.

Deya,

Using Chrome, I got it working exactly as you described when I used the link you provided. So sorry about any confusion.

(I had to put both www.surfcanyon.com and www.mywot.com as exclusions in my Privoxy useraction file.)

I still have a tiny question: it uses bing by default. What if I want to get the search done using Google? Is that possible?

I was hoping to get rid of the WOT extensions for Firefox and Chrome by using surfcanyon. But if it's a matter of replacing one extension with another (or a plugin) I'd be a bit hesitant since I'm quite well set with Google search as it is supplemented with the WOT rings.

@vasa1, .. If you look at the link I put in the first post, this one, in the very last paragraph, it says - "Sometime soon, I’ll tell you how to set SurfCanyon-WOT as your default search engine in Firefox, IE, Chrome and Opera" .. but that's it, no more. I can't find a follow up piece to that anywhere, but I'll keep looking. Or maybe someone on here will know the answer to that.

I was already set to default but there must be something else Im doing wrong because no matter what I try I cannot get the WOT ratings to show
