If I have to allow all this stuff, I don't see the point in running the test, since it won't be testing my "default" settings, i.e. strengths & weaknesses of my browser as I normally use it.

Given that today's browsers can be configured in many ways by the users, these tests should take that into account. Otherwise, they just test the default settings the browsers come with.

I'll stick to ScanIt.
