...\Flash\ did not have any old files except for two log files Was sure I saw ...\system32\Adobe\ but "Adobe" subdirectory disappeared when I cliced on it and looked away for a second. Flash and Shockwave installed fine, and web media and animations play in Firefox but not in Opera 9.64. It used to work; can someone help here. |

I too had problems with flash when I was using Opera 9.64. Maybe, that version of Opera was buggy with flash player. As Dan pointed out, Opera has a newer version : 10.60. You should try it. I have downloaded the latest version, but I have not tried it.
I hope you are using the latest version of Flash Player, which is 10.1.53.64. Flash Player Uninstaller has also been updated to a new version, so please download that too. Also, I have moved the posts from the other thread, as your query is related to a problem on your PC, whereas the thread was about Flash Player in general. Please start a new thread next time, under similar circumstances. This helps in keeping things organized ![]()

![]() Opera 9.64 is to old you will have to update to get Flash and Shockwave to install with the newest versions.Others are having no problem with Opera 9.64. I used to have no problems, and am not ready to update Opera to current version (maybe to version 10.1 but not decided). I hope you are using the latest version of Flash Player, which is 10.1.53.64. Flash Player Uninstaller has also been updated to a new version, so please download that too.Yes, downloaded current uninstallers and programs. Flash 10.1.53.64 identified in FF, but nothing found in a test from Opera. Anyone know of a fix in Opera settings? |
