Default Lunascape = Keylogger?

I use the LastPsss plugin on any browser, on any computer, anywhere I am. It's a must-have program for me. When I tried to load this plugin on Lunascape 6.0, I got this message from a security program called SnoopFree Privacy Shield 1.0.7...

Blocked illegal keyboard hook in 'C:\Program Files\Lunascape\Lunascape6\Luna.exe'

Then Lunascape quit working, even after restarting.

Apparently Lunascape tried to run a keylogger on the program I use to store all my personal and private info including all my logins & passwords.

LastPass works perfectly for me on IE8, FF and Chrome.

Lunascape may be SPYWARE!!

Whether it may or may not be spyware, this is one of the reasons why I stick to mainstream browsers rather than their derivatives or something totally new. I also try to do with a minimum of add-ons. Of course, those more well-versed will have a wider field of choice.

Here's a reply from another forum voicing the opinion that there's nothing amiss.

I have SnoopFree installed and the only time it questioned Luna was when I used the built in screen capture, which it does if I use any form of screen capture tool. Maybe it's the add-on, that particular one [LastPass] does seem to cause a few issues from what I've read. There's something about it on their forum here.

I've checked and checked on Lunascape as regards spyware etc, and I haven't found anything untoward, as yet, but that doesn't mean I'm right and I'll stand correcting if anyone finds anything different. There's an anti virus report to look at here.

Maybe if you ask on the Lunascape forum they'll address your concerns? .. they seem to reply and follow up any questions you might have.

Today it's been added to the browser choice screen. They're certainly putting some time and effort into Lunascape just lately, looks like it's paying off.

Yep, great example of hard work and dedication. Folks who mean business to this degree usually end up taking it

Lunascape 6.5.0 Final has been released. I've been using the Beta for ages but this final version is much better. It's on their blog, here.

Thanks for the link. 20% increase in speed with the Webkit engine is a great achievement because it wasn't exactly slow before. I must get around to this but I'm surrounded by live Linux CD's again at the moment so Windows is taking a short holiday
