Default Firefox 3.6 coming tomorrow

The wait is going to be finally over. According to the Mozilla site, Firefox 3.6 will be released tomorrow on 21st January, 9:30am Pacific Standard Time.

Avast 5 released yesterday... and Firefox 3.6 releasing tomorrow... what more could one ask for .

I read they are dropping 3.7 all together, and bringing out 4.0 towards end of the year. They rather going to do incremental updates to FF...

Yes, that's true too. They have dropped 3.7.

I can think of a lot...

couple of extra beers

or maybe get Mozilla to stop working on Firefox and fix Thunderbird instead

If Softpedia is to be believed, it's the same build as RC2 that's been on the ftp site since Jan. 15. I've been using it since then. All my AddOns work fine.

I did the download Softpedia provides and the md5 sum is the same as the Jan. 15 build. The Jan. 15 installs as Firefox and doesn't say anything about beta or release candidate. I think it's it but they are waiting for the pizza to arrive before announcing.

I'm using it now, you can get it early from Softpedia as MilesAhead has said.

Scroll down the page, choose your OS and follow the link to download 3.6 Final.
