Sorry for the delayed reply, Anupam, but I posted the link and then had to go and earn my corn for the day

As far as 3.6 goes, it's good so far. Everything that I've installed seems to be working fine, add ons etc, and I like the 'Plugin Check' feature. It's easier to make sure Java and Flash etc are up to date now, so that's a good thing as far as I'm concerned.

It's definitely quicker at loading pages. There are still a few things I want to try so I'll mess around with it later and see how it goes. I was never completely happy with the previous version, maybe just me but it seemed lacking some how, it never seemed quite as slick as it once did. I hope this new version restores my faith in Firefox because when they get it right it takes some beating, but so far so good for 3.6.

Don't worry about being late. Thanks for the reply.

So, things do seem good for Firefox 3.6, and really happy to hear that add-ons are working great with it. Yes, Firefox has made some important changes in this release. Plugin check has been incorporated into the browser itself, and that's a really good move. Also, policy regarding third party plugins directory has been changed, keeping security in mind. Will post details about that later.

HTML 5 is also in this release. I am looking forward to it.

Firefox have taken a long time in releasing 3.6, just like Avast did with the version 5... so you can expect the release to be trouble free. I am sure not a lot of bugs will be there. I am looking forward to using Firefox 3.6.

Love the new personas feature, Oh my FF look mighty fine in my Liverpool skin!

Just point and add, almost like Windows 7

Those dark colored themes make the toolbar icons look bad though. Kind of reminds of Win98 and 16bit icons.
