About downloading videos, the above script is only working with YouTube.
If you want to download from somewhere else the best i found is this web service. They cover a wide range
of downloading video sites and offer a bookmarklet too.

Now, two more great extensions i found today is Apture Highlights and VTchromizer.

Apture Highlights seems like a fantastic addon but unfortunately it doesn't
work when you have javascript disabled. For instanse Google Dictionary still works when you have JS disabled by
clicking at the little button on the address bar. Apture Highlights doesn't
give that option.

Auto HD for YouTube does exactly what it says. It starts all YouTube videos with HD quality where is possible (the default is 720p but you can easily set it to play the best available quality). It sounds unecessary, but is really handy if you watch videos a lot.

Another one is Stop Autoplay for YouTube.
The developer says it all:

Quote:
YouTube autoplay is annoying when you open a lot of pages at a time, but many extensions that turn it off also stop the pre-buffering of the video, which is crucial for slow networks.

I posted this in another thread, but this thread is more appropriate.

Here is a real handy Chrome extension, called Google Quick Scroll. I haven't been able to find a similar Firefox extension yet. I imagine that there's a grease monkey script that would do the same.

Anyway, this extension is turning into one of my favorites. I think anyone that does searches for specific words or sentences and comes across a wall of text would appreciate this one.

Atari Classics anyone? Ah nostalgia. I remember going to the arcade with my friends and playing these when I was a kid.
