Dang!

I've got latest beta and can't get a decent equivalent to "FireGestures"
Of the three i've tested in the present repo. none can do both basic gestures (back/forward)!
Oh, ya, some can go backward pretty easily, but not forward!
Go figure!

I use Basic Gestures. It's just that - basic gestures; back and forward, open new tab, close current tab. Simple but effective. Works fine.

Gave it another deya.
Set it to 10 instead of 50 and it works.
Odd though, line was showing when going to left but not back to right.
Now working as you say (after this second attempt).

No, I still need the old Plugins and Extensions to work so I switched to Firefox ESR 52.5.2 (64 Bit) and Still use SeaMonkey 2.49.1 - Either of which STILL Use the Old Plugins.
When Firefox no longer supports the old Extensions I'll be using SeaMonkey alone: SeaMonkey STILL Supports FEBE https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/febe/ NOW and likely will support it for a long time to come.

Firefox updated to 57.0.4.

It addresses the Meltdown and Spectre attacks.
