New year, new browser. Opera 50 introduces anti-Bitcoin mining tool;

Other changes; save pages to PDF - changes to the VPN including data now being hosted on Opera servers as opposed to SurfEasy - Chromecast support, and more.

50 doesn't do it for me.

First updated via help section - crashes all the time at startup.
Removed and re-installed - same problem.

This is first time i've ever encountered such problems with Opera.

Portable version didn't do that.

I've not had any problems with version 50, but comments in their blog post suggest that some users are. I did an over the top install and the only issue I had was waiting for the NoCoin (Cryptocurrency Mining Protection) to show up in the settings.

Oddly enough, dev edition doesn't crash at all!
Do however get some kind of warning at start up:

Hi! I'm using Opera 50.0.2762.58 and the only complaint I have is that, apparently, there is no way to set the browser to go to the new message in a new tab like they have in Firefox and others. This is really starting to get my goat, because sometimes I forget to click on the newer tab and whatever message was there disappears. Is there =any= way to get Opera to open a new tab and then go to that new tab?
