@lbrucegray;

If you're wanting to click a link and have it open in a new tab you can install the Classic Tabs extension;

https://addons.opera.com/en-gb/exten...bs/?display=en

Once installed, go to the extensions page in your browser and click 'Options' for Classic Tabs.

Top of the list in the options menu, 'When opening a tab' - check the button to 'Open all tabs next to the active tab' - and then further down the list check the button, 'Focus the new tab' .... and that should solve the problem for you.

The Classic Tabs extension basically gives you the same tab options that were available in the old Opera 12 browser.

I like Opera (never thought i'd say that about its Chrome iteration)!

Is there an addon to enable scrolling through open tabs via middle mouse?

Opera 12-like tab switcher does it. Right click then scroll tabs with middle mouse via the menu;

Thank you deya, but i'm afraid it's not working and support link seems null.
Not updated since 2013?

It works fine for me. Right click and hold, then roll the middle mouse wheel and you'll get the menu. Roll the wheel to change tabs. Worth noting that it doesn't work if you try it on the Opera extensions page, settings page, bookmarks page etc. Load a few Websites in different tabs, then try it.

It's a possibility, seems odd, but I would have thought it would work in the beta version. I only have the stable version installed and it works, no problems. If you have several tabs open there's always tab previews but I don't suppose that's the same thing as what you're wanting.

Have a trawl through the extensions page and see if maybe there's another one that does what you want - or try installing that one again and see if it works. Other than that, not sure what else to suggest.

There's a Chrome extension that does it. Search the Chrome Store for 'Tab Wheel Scroll'

You'll need this extension installed in Opera first;

https://addons.opera.com/en-gb/exten...e-extension-9/

... once you have that installed you can install any Chrome extension to Opera.

Maybe that one will work for you.
