Firefox 53 has been released, and is available for download.

XP & Vista are no longer supported.

AFAIK security updates will continue until September 2017, but there will be no new features.

Luckily for me, i saw the writing on the wall and now dual boot XP and MX-16; most of my Internet browsing time is spent in Linux.

I would probably have updated to W10, but i missed out on having W7 & W8 and besides, I still think XP was/is MS's best OS to date.

well, no features removed,
But, it seems that Adblocker Ultimate, is no longer fully blocking Ads. ..

it still was, with Firefox 52, but something has shifted, for now.

ie: "Ads by Google" - - is back.
at least,on some sites, anyway.

Why don't you use Adblock Plus, or ublock origin, which are quite popular.
