Adobe Flash Player 24

Adobe Flash Player has been updated to 24.0.0.186.

The offline download for flash player has been discontinued. The uninstaller however can still be downloaded from here:

Corrine still lists the offline installers, I just checked and they're the latest versions ~19MB: http://securitygarden.blogspot.co.uk...-critical.html

Thanks a lot for this link satrow.

I wonder how these people came to know about these offline download links.

For the next update, I will try these downloads, and see how it goes.

I tried it on my laptop, and it works.

Thanks again satrow.

No worries.

They're experienced in these things ;)

Corrine's very experienced with security updates, she also has a wide range of contacts but it's very likely that Adobe themselves published those particular links originally, they only need one character changed for the next major version, the current links should still work over some months or more - unless Adobe pull the plug on that server, too.

Yes, let's hope these links keep working for current, and later versions too.

Isn't this the link for offline installers? I downloaded it, and works fine. Scroll down and download the links given for Firefox, IE and Chromium based browsers

Seems to be dubugger version... no idea what that is, or how different it is from the usual flash player.

The installer seems the same to me as before for normal downloads. Works the same way too.

Anupam 15. Dec 2016 07:38 PM

It's good then.... but until it's clear to me, the difference between the two, I will continue to use the offline links from satrow, or, will use online installation.
