As you suggested, I did a clean uninstall then reinstalled a freshly downloaded MBAE free copy.
All seems to be working fine.
Fingers crossed...

Thanks mate.

Spoke too soon...

The problem is back again with the same error report and details.

I'll uninstall MBAE for now and see.

Sorry for the delay to update my findings:

Chrome did not crash with MBAE disabled.
Restarted MBAE by disabling all Chrome protections in its advanced settings.
I had a Chrome crash this morning, though in the event viewer report, there was one less reference to MBAE dll compared to the report I posted earlier.

This could suggest that there may be other causes for the crashes.
Anyway back to disabling MBAE again for a little while longer, no luck with the MBAE nor Chrome support teams neither...

Sounds like an issue with your profile. Try this after backing up your bookmarks: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/142059?hl=en

If you still experience it, then your synced profile may be the issue. Try this: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6386691?hl=en

Just recently I experienced the same. Chrome would not run and IE stopped working even after trying out several methods in Windows 7 on a laptop thrown to me for help. The only browser that worked was Firefox surprisingly.

I suspected some system settings or files might have been corrupted which I think were not easy to trace without burning more mightnight oils. Instead of reinstalling Windows 7, I made use of this opportunity to get a free upgrade of the system to Windows 10 and now every browser works perfectly.

Thanks mate.
I'm trying out the first solution (the second does not apply to me).
I'll keep you posted.

Ps: I had to reset all my preferences and bookmarks but if it works it is worth the hassle.

The issue persist. The only way I can stop Chrome crashes is by disabling Malwarebytes Antiexploit.
I have CryptoPrevent and Zemana Antilogger installed, do I need MBAE?
