3.5.2 running fine here with Adblock Plus, Noscript, and WOT. It's a bit faster than 3.5.1.

It all works fine i find these crashes very intresting as i test firefox browsers latest 3.5.2. i donot have 1 problem at all. I also use Adblock Plus, Noscript, and WOT . Also 3.5.1 has some security problems that were fixed with the release of 3.5.2

Default Spell check?

After changing my setup yesterday I downloaded a new copy of 3.5.2 into which I also installed NoScript, RefControl, CSLite and FoxClocks. Everything is working perfectly except I have no operational spell check. The default box for this is ticked as it should be and no other settings have been changed. As I often tend to be as dumb as a dodo with these things has anyone got any ideas?

For what it's worth: It is just the opposite for me. 3.5.1 was crashing once in a while, 3.5.2 is absolutely stable with everything enabled. Even all the add-ons and plugins work.

Well, thanks to Rik I now know I downloaded a version of Firefox with the "wrong" version of English (LOL) which is why my spell check was inoperative. I've now loaded the "correct" dictionary plugin for it and all is well.

During my crashes I got a flash message box indicating a miss-install of NoScript but I suspect this might have had more to do with a conflict with other software than the actual plugin itself. I say that because since I re-installed CIS as firewall only without the AV and D+ modules I've had no further problems with 3.5.2.

I spoke too soon having experienced multiple crashes today for no good reason that I can see.

With all this messing about and 2+G of free memory lying around I actually decided to try the latest version of Safari and I love it. Visually it's certainly much better and I've saved the WOT and Dr. Web online check pages to my "top sites" and just open each in a spare tab to drop links into while I'm working in the site.

Safari might not be everyone's cup of tea but Apple sure know how to build 'em

Hey, I'm still on-line, guess BT haven't done the cut off yet I assume it will happen tonight, so I'll get the new accounts setup tomorrow.

Anyway, the main reason for posting is that 3.5.2 has crashed on me at least six times today. I've logged what I was doing each time and I can't see any link? If anyone has the link to the latest version of 3.0.x.x please post it, I don't seem to be able to find it.

Thanks,

Rik

I'm beginning to wonder if it's not our site?
Were you in TSA during the crashes?

I had the same thing with Safari this morning, switched back to Firefox and bang off it went again. Then I tried surfing thru some other sites with both browsers and everything was fine. The only thing I didn't try was logging out and surfing TSA as an anonymous visitor.

Yes, thinking about it, every time I had a crash I was connected to the site?

Do you want me to try another browser, I'd have to download it, but that's no big deal.
