it seems that some sites are now moving to static adverts,
which are more difficult to block,

it was those pop-over types that most people objected to,
and the main reason that they started to block adverts.

so, as long as the static adverts stick to the current format,
then it's assumable that they won't get blocked.

I didn't mind them until the flashing ad pictures came about in the 1990s... then the fly over...

then script popups... then the porn ones, then the crap marquee ones, then the mouse tail banners...

if the people using static ads think I'll just let them go, they need to check with reality, the ad companies lost my trust, and like the saying goes, trust doesn't come cheap...

the only ads I view now are the ones that pay me 10 cents per view... which comes out to about a few dollars/month for a few minutes a day of work... not much money, but not much effort either

Some Streaming sites are blocking video from opening if adblock is on,one has to disable adblock in order to be able to watch stream,I'm a fan of sports streaming live games and luckily i only have one site that uses that method.

Also Win 10 and edge have no adblock,if you make a poll, you only have a few people using Edge compared to Chrome and Firefox, hope that will change!
win says they will add an ad blocker in 2016

I have had a very bad run of Taboola pop-up ads on several sites today. This has been going on for days. So I'm going to give ad blocking a try for the first time ever, although I still don't like doing it.
