The new Google Drive
... now supports uploading of folders and multiple file selections from within your browser. Previously, attempting to do so would trigger a message along the lines of "Only if you install Google Drive on your PC" which I used to get around by creating zips if I wanted to upload a lot of single files.

This change has quite made my day :)

I use cloud storage/sharing fairly often but I'm not a fan of installing a lot of software on my PC and I don't want a dedicated synced folder, so this is a huge improvement imo.

Good for you!
So, i suppose with zip files you can stock any file format right?
How much does GDrive use?
Skydrive uses about 26,000k on my laptop and Dropbox i think was about the same.

Yes you can zip anything ... Google Drive doesn't have the same dislike of exes that Gmail does :)

I'm not sure what you mean by how much does it use though? It's purely web based which is why the new ability to upload folders is so welcome. Previously you could only upload single files from within a browser.

"Use" = ressource usage.

They've really done some big changes in GDrive.
Just wish they had kept the old notes, don't really care for Keep.
