Thank you Anupam but apparently something is wrong with their plugin-based installers. When I run the .exe and check Firefox afterwards Shockwave is still at 15.0.0.223. On the other hand, if I run the .msi I get 2 options - (1) to Repair, or (2) to Remove Adobe Flash Player. Strange. I've run the .msi installer in the past and never got that.

Joe, I think I got it.
I checked the versions of the two installers (hovering the mouse over them) that I downloaded for flash player (plugin and ActiveX). Guess what, they are still the older versions. They have updated the version number on the page, but they haven't uploaded the latest versions to their servers it seems. All that downloading for nothing ![]() However, the uninstaller is the latest version. So, that's okay. Will try downloading tomorrow I guess. That should be enough for them to upload their latest versions ![]()

It's because you were trying to install a version which was already installed. You never saw those options before, because you always tried to install a newer version. That's the only explanation that comes to my mind.
