Updated again - 15.0.1147.141 Stable.

http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog...rl-z-of-ctrl-d

From the page;

"But we understand that removing bookmarks entirely for the people who actively use them is a big change, so we are going to build bookmarking functionality as a priority"

Getting more used to using it now. Very quick browser.

Thanks for the update deya, and that link. I didn't notice that Opera does not have the bookmarks feature anymore. I don't know what kind of users they collected data from, but bookmarks for me, are very important, as I rely on it a lot to save my favorite sites, and others that I find of use. I do access only a few sites from the bookmarks regularly, but still, all the the bookmarks that I have are important, and I do need them sometime or the other.

It's good that they will be bringing that feature back. I can't imagine a browser without the bookmarks feature. But, from what was written in the blog post, I think there might be a change from the regular bookmarks. Don't know what they will do with it . It's strange how companies do not have any idea about the way the common users use their product.

Still no update on the changelog.

Funny also, they said that they are working on themes... I don't think it's an important aspect of the browser.. I see as more of a cosmetic thing. They should focus more on integrating useful features into the browser, rather than a cosmetic feature like themes.

Not having bookmarks is one of the things many people have complained about. They seem to be listening to the feedback they're getting and have made it a priority to reinstate them.

In the meantime I'm using this Opera extension;

https://addons.opera.com/en/extensio...er/?display=en

Not totally ideal but it does the job for now - and there's always the built in Stash feature, which isn't bad.

Like you, I don't think themes are a priority either but maybe they're trying to appeal more to the masses now with stuff like that.

One thing is, if you look at the size of the program file, it's huge. At least it is on the machines I have it installed on. It retains the previous build after it's updated. Maybe they'll address that in the future as well.

As a side note, the latest version of Sleipnir (4.3) has also added support for Blink;

Seems to be the way things are going at the moment. It also runs very quick - but will probably now also have endless updates

URL completion with Ctrl+Enter does not work on Chrome and Chrome based browsers anymore?

I tried this with Opera 15, and also Sleipnir.. did not work on both of them.

Is this a bug, or, deliberate? Has the shortcut for URL completion changed on these browsers? What's happening?

Ctrl+Enter always added .com in the end and went to the website for me in all browsers including Chrome 28 and Internet Explorer 10.
