I've just been comparing Networx, Net Meter and [edited out] on an XP PC.
All work well but, whilst Net Meter and [edited out] show very, consistently, similar Upload/Download speeds, Networx speeds are very different and very inconsistent. I have all three running at the same time and speedtest.net to compare them. I am thus inclined not to trust Networx data and to use Net Meter (which is effectively a freeware version of [edited out]). Last edited by Anupam; 21. Sep 2012 at 12:08 PM. Thanks for your info. That's interesting. I just did the same test with Networx and Speedtest and got very exact results in Win7 64Bit. Networx displayed the down- and upload activities and traffic load correctly.
Well, both are free utilities. Just pick the one you like better and works best for you.
