sharing a folder

Im trying to find a service to share a folder,

Basically like dropbox or sugarsync I need to share a folder with 1 person i want to upload the file and get a link so that they can then download the whole folder and its contents. not to edit the contents and re upload it. but from what ive seen sugarsync requires that they sign up and access the folder through shared folder.

If your only need is share a folder, you can use Skydrive and give acces only to a specific e-mail adress .Also you can set security parameters as "read only" .

If you want to try Skydrive desktop app too.

Here is the list of all Cloud Based Backup Services

You can share a folder on Box.

You will need to sign up on Box, but the persons who want to download the folder do not need to.

You can also setup permissions on the files/folders that you want to share, to give the type of access you want.

you can do this with dropbox as well, lets you give them a password and they can download each file or all as a zip
