Default webMeasure

Hi all,
I just revisited an older web app of mine. It's a web based unit conversion application. I know there are many others out there, but I thought 'What the heck?'. It's free and it comes with a nice GUI. Maybe some of you find it handy once in a while. Here you go:

Hi all,
I did some minor bug fixes to webMeasure and added another page with computer related conversions. Check it out if you like...

That is quite a nice set of conversions. I had not seen conversion to Roman numerals before. Out of curiosity, I looked around on Google and I see that JavaScript algorithms have been played with by others.

Hi Vic
true, a Javascript architecture would be a valid approach too for this app. This was a PHP project though I worked on trying different techniques of PHP classes and conversion methods. It was not presentable at first but then I thought I put a GUI to it. It is not so super popular but I get about a 1000 visits per month.

it's nice, i'd use it myself but google beats it out for me :S it's just that much simpler for me to type in 5 miles to km in the url/search bar than to go to a webpage then find right page/place to enter info...

and shhh you're US women clothing size is off, it doesn't include zero... I never understood how women try on a size 0 clothes, used to men's sizing where it is just the number in inches for the actual size.

and wow, i use a size 45 shoe in europe?

I think the volume page is off, i put in 5 fluid ounces and the rest of the fields returned 0
edit: nvm on the volume page, 5 fl ounces was just too small for the other things

edit again: you guys have high gas prices in germany... well with how much better your public transportation is (at least around the airports where I didn't need to drive much) you dont need to drive a lot anyways. I feel like the US is behind the times but I like our "cheaper" goods...
