Default ...shows Event Logs from networked computers

Hi, I'm looking for a nice free program that will show event logs from all log types (system, application, security, etc) at once and has the ability to filter by info (event, source, etc) as well, from other computers on the network. Basically, I'm looking for a freeware version of Event Log Explorer (eventlogxp.com).

Does such a program exist?

Thanks,
Michael

Default What about Event Viewer?

Hello Michael,

I am sure that you already know the feature of Windows built-in Event Viewer that it lets you connect to any other computer on the network to view the events on those computer. As an IT manager, it satisfies our requirements. You may give it a try if you have not done already.

Yes, of course I know that already. I am looking for something that is much more feature-rich than the built in Event Viewer. The Event Log Explorer program has a better view, has filtering of view, auto-refresh, color coding, links to eventid.net, etc.

Then, you may give a try to the free version of Health-Monitor which used to be an open source project in the past. Hope it helps.
