Default webinar record

hello!
I have an older windows computer that does not have a screen or video record program on it, and there are times I watch webinars, and I would like to re- watch them to refresh what was gone over, in my mind. I would like to re-watch them for personal use only.. Anyways I tried recording a webinar using VLC and it worked, only THERE WAS NO SOUND!! either I did something wrong or something.. Is there a good free desktop screen /video recorder that can be used for recording webinars that does not have a bunch of malware or Trojan's in it??
thanks!

Thanks for the reply, I have been away from the computer quite a bit the last few days. Do you know anything about this program, and if it is safe and no spy ware etc..
thanks

It's not a program. The recording URL scans clean.

Hello..
I tried the recordscreen, and it did work, however it saves in webm format, and when I tried to play it back, I put it in VLC, and the recording was jerky and froze quite a bit. Now maybe it is just that my computer is older, but I have played many things in VLC and never had problems before....so I am wondering if anyone has any other ideas concerning a screen recording software or something like that... thanks ahead of time..

I downloaded the freeware "debut" and it works well and the video is crystal clear....

Edit: NCH software is controversial at best. This software is not ‘freeware’ but is variously classified as either ‘ad-supported’ or ‘freemium’. Prospective users should read the NCH terms and conditions before deciding if they wish to install this program.

Hello! I am back! I just saw the Edit--- NCH software is controversial -- I have just discovered that there is problems with the software.... works great-beautiful clear recordings --HOWEVER when I tried to use my DVD styler- to create an ISO it keeps failing, and I am getting a pop up from AVG that says---Mkisof.exe wants to delete the file or change the file ( that I am trying to convert to ISO ) I entered Mkisof.exe in the google browser, and up pops NCH software--"debut" so it looks like there is a conflict ...So it looks like I am going to have to un-install the debut software..
Any ideas of CLEAN decent quality screen record software that works good??
thanks!

I'm not familiar with the software but it does scan clean with VirusTotal.

It's good and clean. Featured in the review here on main site:

You can find other screen recorders in the review too.
