Replacement for Filehippo update notifier

I've used Filehippo and its resident app for closer to 15 years since it first began providing its update scanning and notification service. However, at the end of June the website stopped being updated  (so far as the updated file downloads, although there are "news" bits from dates in July). From what information I have been able to gather, its owner (Well Known Media) has closed shop and its domain registry wkmedia.com has expired; the FH domain remains active, but for how much longer is unclear.

Since I don't know if WKM is trying to sell the FH domain and service to someone else, or if it will also die completely at whatever point the domain registry expires, I'm in the market for a new, trustworthy online clearinghouse for updates and notifications relevant to my system(s). If anyone has insight into what's going on with FH, and certainly if anyone has suggested alternatives which they like and trust, I'm interested in knowing more on both counts.

You can use SUMo from KC Softwares. Make sure to download lite version or portable version as normal installer has adware. It has the biggest database of software's that I've seen and also provides beta update versions with very fast update frequency. Additionally it auto-detects installed software and you can also add path for portable software (that needs updation). This feature is quite unique.

Note that it only lists software's that require an update, it doesn't update software's automatically. Only the Pro version can do that. It doesn't bother me anyway because I tend to download software's from official site.

SUMo portable: https://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTAB...ble-SUMo.shtml
