Recommend A Free Software Updater

Long time user of File Hippo but recently it just won't work with my 64 bit Pale Moon browser amongst other things. When I click on a program download in File Hippo I don't get a download link anymore. To be honest the site is not so good the last long while. Anyway would appreciate any advice on modern alternatives?.
