Depends who you want to share them with. Anyone? A special person?

Default File Sharing Program

I'm seeking to share MP3 learning tracks and PDF sheet music files with a 40 man chorus.

The easiest way would be to use a local FTP server and hand them the address, e.g. Filezilla.

What about simply using Google Drive or Microsoft One Drive? Once you've uploaded the files, all you would have to do would be to share the link by email.

Depending on the total size, they're not "free".

I'd go with Sope's suggestion and try out Google Drive or One Drive and see how that works out for you.

Wikipedia has a list of file sharing programs but I suggest that you look at cloud-based file sharing whether peer-to-peer or file sync/backup/share services.

The advantage of file sharing from the cloud is that the files are always available even when your computer/server is not turned on or connected to the Internet.

See this comparison of file sharing services for more options than the big ones already mentioned.

The "Public sharing" column indicates the services which allow you to share files. If you want to have a higher level of security than public (anyone) access then some of those services allow you to limit access to specific users/guests.
