Default File Backup Software

Hello. I need a software backup program that will do backups that not only copy new files to the backup drive but also eliminate files on the backup that i have deleted on the pc drive. I have been using a Western Digital Smartware backup program that came with their external hard drive thinking it did that but it doesn't. Just keeps adding new files. Pretty soon the disk is full. Thanks

I believe what you want to achieve would be better accomplished with synchronization software. Have a look at this article: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...on-utility.htm

You could try FreeFileSync, a free Open Source software that helps you synchronize files and synchronize folders.

OpenCandy is a common addition nowadays to a lot of software. You can read more about it here.
